Hello once more, leaders of Scientology. This is Anonymous.
Our expectations have been exceeded. Our message has been released to thousands around the world. And our resolve grows ever stronger with every coming day. The 10th of February will be remembered as the day when Anonymous made history, when we galvanized a people to channel their outrage into protest. Thousands worldwide stepped forward in defense of truth, honesty, and integrity. The current leader of Scientology, David Miscavige, can no longer hide the true face of his organization from the public eye. We stand proud. We stand united. But it is not yet enough.
While we have achieved some success, the injustices perpetrated by the so-called "church" continue to reverberate. We hope that our message has reached you, be it through flyer, Internet, or word-of-mouth. We hope that you have been inspired to rise up and assist us in continuing this campaign against a dangerous cult. Writing to local government officials is an excellent way of pressuring the church to change its illegal ways while simultaneously provoking government intervention. No matter where you live, for residents of the United States, writing congressmen and senators is absolutely essential to our cause. Put pen to paper and let us show the church that our words are stronger than their violence. The power of ideas is indisputable. The momentum is with us, lifting us to greater heights.
Some are skeptical, but the evidence for the necessity of these actions is solid. Scientology is not a church; it is a for-profit organization that does not deserve the generous tax-exempt status it retains while the average American pays his taxes, working hard for his daily wage. While the human toll of the church's actions is great, the United States government has itself been victimized by their nefarious techniques. Operation Snow White was Scientology's effort to clean up their appearance, infiltrating and stealing from many government organizations including the IRS and the FBI. The top-ranking members of the church were indicted and imprisoned as this operation was unraveled, including the founder's wife. The unraveling of their infiltration, the single largest of the United States government in history, did not make them any less brazen. Violence is their credo, and we saw this on the 10th when two Scientologists were arrested for assault in London. This is why we take to the streets yet again.
On the 15th of March, L. Ron Hubbard's birthday, we shall celebrate outside Scientology's buildings worldwide. Anonymous extends a cordial invitation to all who would attend, helping us rid the world of a corrupt organization. It is time their tax-exempt status, wrought by deceit, was at last revoked. It is time their involvement in the destruction of families was revealed. It is time we wrote our congressmen, our senators, our politicians, and raised awareness the world over. It is time we take a stand against corruption and the twisted machinations of Miscavige and his cronies. Scientology will be made to see the blinding light of our truth, and surely they shall flee from it.
